EMD is always welcoming new members! We meet the second Tuesday of the month at 7:30pm. Whether you prefer to simply attend events that interest you, share your time and talents through our committees, or support the local organizations we assist financially, there's a place for you in our community.
Our History
The Evening Membership Department was founded in 1936 and became Federated by the New Jersey State Federation of Women's Clubs in 1939. It was created to provide service-minded women with the opportunity to gather and contribute in the evenings, rather than during traditional afternoon meetings.
Today
Now with over 100 active local women, EMD continues to host most meetings and events in the evenings—though daytime gatherings are also part of our calendar. From engaging speakers to social events and community initiatives, there’s something for everyone.
Come as you are, get involved as much as you like, and help make a difference with EMD.
